Bob and I farm in Lancaster County on 47 acres of rolling hills, and have been here since 1985, having moved from near Lancaster County, PA. We raise meat sheep that are a Dorper/Katahdin cross breed, and we have chickens for eggs, a couple adorable large dairy goats, livestock guardian dogs, our spoiled spotted Jack, Clarence, and his mischievous pony sidekick, Peanut Butter, and honeybees. We offer farm tours to the public for people to learn about our animals and farming practices.
Bob hasn't retired yet, and his job takes him out of town several days a week. When he's home, he enjoys all the tractor work and building shelters for our animals. I enjoy taking care of the animals and am the "veterinarian" on the farm. I loves to cook and bake, quilt and knit, and am a master gardener who grows fabulous weeds in the garden. (HA!) I am the beekeeper, but couldn't do it without Bob helping me.
